  Dolmabahce Palace
  Dolmabahce Palace, built by Sultan Ist Abdulmecit during 19th century is lying for 600 m at European coast of the Bosphorus. Dolmabahce Palace, is constructed between 1843 and 1856 as a mixture of European art methods. It is one of the pieces of art of Sultan Abdulmecit's architect, Karabet Balya. Ottomans The Dolmabahce Palace (also known as the "Late Palace", where Ataturk - the founder of the Turkish Republic in 1923-spend his last days and died in 1938 on 10th November!)- Where much more original interior decoration of the palace is still to be seen compared to Topkapi Palace!
   
  Mihrimah Sultan Mosque

  Taksim Square
  Before Ankara became the new Capitol of the Turkish Republic, on this boulevard were all the foreign Embassies nowadays these architectural masterpiece buildings are still in use as general consulates, movie, theatres, boutiques, cafes, bars, patisseries, antiquity shops, bookshops etc. After it turned into a street for pedestrians, they have also rebuild the "Old Tramway", which is now cruising between the two ends of this boulevard, Taksim-square and Tunel-square!

  - Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting a religious sight.
- Dolmabahce Palace is closed on Mondays and Thursday.
- Comfortable, sensible walking shoes are recommended.
